Incident Management Tablet Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 6, 2026

Incident Management Tablet is an incident management and ICS documentation application developed by Ryan Watson for use by fire departments, emergency medical services, emergency management personnel, and other public safety organizations.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using Incident Management Tablet.

Information Collection

Incident Management Tablet does not transmit incident, personnel, resource, signature, or other operational information to the developer.

Information entered into the application is stored locally on the user’s device.

The developer does not operate a server or online service that receives or stores information entered into Incident Management Tablet.

Information Stored on the Device

Depending on how the application is used, locally stored information may include:

This information remains under the control of the user and the device on which the application is installed.

Sharing and Exporting Information

Incident Management Tablet allows users to generate, export, or share documents, including completed ICS forms and PDF files.

Information is transmitted outside the application only when the user intentionally uses an available export or sharing function.

Once information is exported or shared, its handling is determined by the destination selected by the user, such as email, messaging, cloud storage, file storage, or another application or service.

Users are responsible for determining whether information is appropriate to export or share and for complying with their organization’s privacy, security, records-management, and information-handling requirements.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Incident Management Tablet does not use information entered into the application for advertising or tracking.

The developer does not sell information entered into Incident Management Tablet.

The application does not use operational information entered by users to create advertising profiles.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information stored by Incident Management Tablet remains locally on the user’s device until it is deleted by the user through the application, removed as part of application data management, or removed when the application and its locally stored data are deleted from the device.

The developer cannot access or remotely delete locally stored incident information because that information is not transmitted to or stored on a developer-operated server.

Copies of documents that users export or share must be managed or deleted from their respective destination by the user.

Sensitive and Operational Information

Incident Management Tablet may be used to record information related to emergency incidents, personnel, resources, and public safety operations.

Users and their organizations are responsible for determining what information may appropriately be entered into the application and for complying with applicable laws, policies, procedures, and records-retention requirements.

Security

Incident Management Tablet relies on security features provided by the user’s device and operating system for locally stored application data.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, including device access controls and operating-system security settings.

Children’s Privacy

Incident Management Tablet is designed as an incident management and public safety documentation tool and is not directed toward children.

The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated server or service.
